My good friends Alicia Luchetti and Teresa Lasaga are walking in the
Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer. Along with many others, this cause is personal because both ladies have lost family members to breast cancer.
Please read below stories and support these ladies as they raise money for a great cause. They have committed to raising a total of $3,600 wh
ich helps fund research, awareness, and education while providing assistance for families currently battling breast cancer.
You can donate to team Sanderson Sisters

Alicia:
I walk for my grandmother, who lost the battle with breast cancer in 2002. She grew up as a poor child working the cotton fields of Yazoo City, Mississippi. Sometimes she ate dirt just to feel full. Yet she never let her circumstances affect her spirit. She became a dedicated member of her community, a wonderful wife, an even better mother of 4 and the best grandmother of 3. She taught me to never give up, to reach for the stars and to always strive to achieve my best. After two separate battles with breast cancer, the last of which spread to her liver and bones, she left this world to join her husband in February 2002. I walk to remind myself that I was born from a line of strong women, and I walk to help end the battle with breast cancer that so many strong women face each day.
Teresa:
I want to do the Avon Walk because breast cancer really effects most families. My aunt passed away a few years ago from breast cancer and my mom had a scare last year. I think it's great when thousands of people come together to help end the battle. Together we can help save lives by promoting awareness and raising funds for research.
It is also very personal for me, my grandmother was a breast cancer survivor after loosing her mother to breast cancer at a very young age.
Please do what you can to help the cause. Any little bit helps! Thank you for your support :)
